HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver – Watford
Salary: £16.50 – £17.50 per hour
Location: Watford, Hertfordshire
Hours: Monday to Friday, early starts – finish when the round is complete

Newstaff Employment Services are currently recruiting reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 Refuse Drivers for ongoing work in Watford. You will be working as part of a crew collecting domestic waste, recycling, and green waste in the local area. This is a physically active job that also involves assisting with loading duties when required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Driving an HGV Class 2 refuse vehicle on pre-planned routes

• Ensuring safe and efficient collection of household waste

• Working as part of a small team with loaders

• Completing vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with safety regulations

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) license

• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card

• Previous experience in refuse collection preferred but not essential – full training provided

• Good communication skills and a strong team ethic

• Reliable, punctual, and professional
