Job Description - HGV Class 1 Driver

We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for a busy operation based in Coatbridge. This is a fantastic opportunity offering consistent work, excellent pay rates, and flexible shift patterns.

Pay & Benefits:

Day shifts: £14.74 – £18.10 per hour
Night shifts: £16.58 – £22.13 per hour
Night shift allowance: £25.06 per shift
Paid holidays and pension contributions
Weekly pay
Modern, well-maintained vehicles

Shift Patterns Available:

Days:
- Tuesday to Saturday
- Sunday to Thursday
Nights:
- Thursday to Monday

Key Responsibilities:

Driving HGV Class 1 vehicles on regional and national routes
Completing deliveries and collections safely and efficiently
Carrying out pre-use vehicle checks
Ensuring all paperwork and digital logs are accurate
Adhering to all transport legislation and health & safety standards

Requirements:

Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
Minimum 2 years of Class 1 driving experience
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Container experience preferred but not essential
Strong understanding of driver regulations and road safety
Good communication and reliability
