Job Description - HGV Class 1 Driver - Days

We are recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for a reliable and well-established operation based in Newbridge. This is a great opportunity for drivers seeking consistent day shifts, stable hours, and a professional working environment.

Pay & Benefits:

£15.28 per hour
Weekly pay
Paid holidays and pension contributions
Full-time hours with regular start times
Supportive transport team and modern fleet

Shift Details:

Start Times: 7:30 AM or 10:30 AM
Shift Pattern: 5 days over 7 (including potential weekend work on rotation)

Key Responsibilities:

Operating Class 1 vehicles for deliveries and collections
Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
Ensuring all paperwork and logs are completed accurately
Following all transport legislation and company procedures
Providing a high standard of customer service during deliveries

Requirements:

Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
Up-to-date Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred
Good knowledge of UK road networks and driving regulations
Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious approach
