We are seeking to onboard a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team on an agency basis, for long-term opportunities. The Role:

As a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in both supporting and leading learning across the school. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting pupils with a range of complex needs, including Autism, PMLD, and SEMH
• Delivering targeted interventions and tailored learning activities to small groups and individual students.
• Taking the lead in the classroom during planned teacher absence, providing structured and engaging cover sessions.
• Working closely with teaching staff to differentiate learning resources, monitor progress, and contribute to planning and assessment.
• Contributing to behaviour support strategies and helping to create a calm, inclusive learning environment.

You Will Need:

• HLTA status or equivalent (e.g., Level 4 Teaching Assistant qualification or higher).
• Demonstrated experience supporting children with SEN in a school or specialist setting.
• A confident, calm, and adaptable nature, with a nurturing and pupil-centred approach.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.
• An Enhanced DBS on the update service or a willingness to obtain one through Academics.
