You will help them build confidence, develop social skills, and engage positively with their learning. The role will involve working closely with teachers, teaching assistants, and other professionals to ensure that each student receives the tailored support they need to thrive.Key Responsibilities:

• 1:1 and Small Group Support: Provide individualised support for students, helping them manage their behaviour, engage in learning activities, and develop positive relationships.
• Emotional and Social Support: Assist students with social skills, emotional regulation, and building self-esteem, offering a nurturing presence and acting as a positive role model.
• Collaborative Working: Work closely with teachers, support staff, and external agencies to ensure the students' individual needs are being met, and they are fully supported in their education.
• Behavioural Support: Use positive behaviour strategies to help students manage their behaviour in the classroom and other school settings.
• Monitoring Progress: Help track and report on students' progress, noting achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.
• Supporting Transitions: Support students with transitions between activities, classes, and school settings, ensuring they feel safe and confident in their environment.

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience with SEN: Previous experience working with children with learning difficulties, ASD, SEMH, or other special educational needs is essential.
• Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents to build positive relationships.
• Empathy and Patience: A caring and patient approach to supporting children with additional needs, always prioritising their well-being.
• Resilience and Flexibility: The ability to adapt to the varying needs of students and remain calm in challenging situations.
• Team Player: Experience working as part of a team, collaborating with other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
