Hire Desk Controller

Location: Kilsyth
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 per annum
Contract: Temp-to-Perm (TTP)

Are you an organised and customer-focused professional with experience in plant or tool hire? We’re looking for a Hire Desk Controller to join a busy depot in Kilsyth, providing first-class service and support to clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle inbound hire enquiries via phone and email
Process hire orders and maintain accurate system records
Liaise with the yard, drivers, and workshop teams to ensure efficient dispatch and returns
Manage hire schedules and availability
Provide excellent customer service and resolve queries promptly

Requirements:

Previous experience in a hire desk or plant/tool hire environment
Strong IT and communication skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Team player with a proactive approach
Knowledge of hire management systems is an advantage
