Tradewind Recruitment is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a passionate History Teacher to join an outstanding secondary school in Tower Hamlets. This Client, a well-regarded girls' school, is looking to appoint a skilled and enthusiastic History teacher to join their dedicated team from the Summer term. The role will be full-time, with the potential for a permanent contract.

Job Role Requirements:

• Teach History to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
• Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons that promote academic progress and develop students' historical knowledge.
• Plan, prepare, and assess work in accordance with the curriculum and school policies.
• Work closely with a supportive and experienced teaching team to drive improvements.
• Provide effective classroom management to ensure a positive and productive learning environment.
• Maintain good communication with students, staff, and parents.
• Promote the school's values and culture within the classroom and beyond.

Qualifications and Person Specification:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in History or a related subject.
• Proven experience teaching History at Key Stage 3 & 4.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students.
• A passion for History and the ability to engage students at various levels.
• A commitment to delivering high-quality education in an inclusive environment.
