Location: Tower Hamlets - East London
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time, Term-time only
Salary: £120-£135 per day (depending on experience)

A forward-thinking and inclusive primary school in Tower Hamlets is seeking a skilled and compassionate HLTA to join their dedicated team from September 2025. This HLTA role is focused on supporting pupils with complex SEND needs in a specialist provision within the school.

• Work directly with pupils with a range of complex needs including ASD, MLD, and SEMH

• Lead small group sessions and support class teachers with personalised interventions

• Be part of a specialist provision designed to give every child the opportunity to thrive

• Access regular training, support from SEN professionals, and career development opportunities

• Inclusive, child-centred school community with excellent staff retention

• Experienced HLTA or a TA with HLTA qualification and SEND experience

• Strong understanding of EHCPs, differentiated learning and therapeutic approaches

• Ability to build trusting relationships with pupils and manage challenging behaviour positively

• Team player who can work closely with teachers, therapists and families

• A clear DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
