About the Role: Hays is seeking a passionate and experienced Key Stage 1 HLTA for a well-regarded school in Barnsley. This role offers the chance to inspire young learners and contribute to their early educational journey. Working closely with other members of school staff, your role will be to cover lessons in the absence of the class teacher as well as supporting within lessons and conducting smaller group interventions and activities.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the planning, preparation, and delivery of high-quality lessons that cater to the diverse needs of Key Stage 1 students.
• Create a stimulating and supportive classroom environment.
• Assess and monitor students' progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive curriculum.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding students' progress and development.
• Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of students' achievements and behaviour.

Requirements:

• HLTA qualification and experience in Key Stage 1.
• Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate young learners.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
