Are you an experienced HLTA with a passion for supporting learning in Key Stage 1?
Desian Education is seeking a skilled and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work in a vibrant and welcoming primary school in Anfield. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking school community and make a meaningful impact on young learners' development.

As an HLTA, you’ll work closely with teaching staff to support learning across Key Stage 1, delivering planned lessons, interventions, and group work. You’ll help raise attainment and provide a nurturing environment for pupils to thrive.

• Deliver planned lessons and activities in the absence of the teacher

• Lead small group interventions to support literacy and numeracy

• Support pupils with a range of abilities, including those with additional needs

• Collaborate with class teachers and SLT to support learning outcomes

• Monitor pupil progress and contribute to assessment and planning

• HLTA status or equivalent qualification

• Proven experience working in a primary school, ideally in KS1

• Strong classroom management and communication skills

• A patient, positive, and proactive attitude

• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
