HLTA - Reading - September

An ambitious and forward-thinking school in Reading is looking for a confident and capable HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) to join their team from September 2025. This HLTA role in Reading will involve delivering interventions, covering lessons, and supporting classroom learning.

This Reading HLTA role includes:

• Leading small groups in phonics, literacy, and numeracy

• Covering PPA and short-term teacher absences

• Supporting children across KS1 and KS2 as a HLTA in Reading

• Supporting children with SEND and adapting delivery to suit all learners

We're seeking a flexible and reliable HLTA who:

• Has HLTA status or equivalent classroom cover experience

• Can confidently manage a class with support from SLT

• Is looking for a long-term HLTA opportunity in Reading
