Aspire People is working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Milton Keynes seeking a confident, skilled HLTA to join their team from September 2025. Whether you're a qualified HLTA or an experienced TA ready for the next step, this role offers the chance to lead, support, and inspire young learners across the school.
About the Role As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will: * Provide targeted classroom support across Key Stage 1 and/or 2 * Take responsibility for leading small group interventions and occasionally delivering whole-class lessons under teacher direction * Support teachers with planning, preparation, and assessment activities * Help create a positive, inclusive learning environment where all pupils can thrive * Use initiative to manage behaviour, support learning, and adapt to the needs of individual pupils * Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCOs, and external professionals to support academic and social development * Uphold school safeguarding, behaviour, and health and safety procedures at all times
