Role Overview:

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) with a passion for sports to join the school for the upcoming academic year. This unique role combines classroom support with sports coaching, offering a varied and rewarding experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Morning (AM): Provide HLTA support across EYFS to KS2 classrooms, assisting with lesson delivery and student engagement.
• Afternoon (PM): Deliver high-quality sports coaching sessions, promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyles.
• Collaborate with the sports team to develop and enhance the PE curriculum.
• Support the planning and implementation of extracurricular sports activities.

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience in sports coaching, preferably within a school setting.
• HLTA qualifications are desirable but not essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A passion for promoting physical education and well-being among young learners.
