Hours: 35 hours per week | Mon-Fri, 09:00-17:00

Pay Rate: £15.00 - £20.00 per hour (Inside IR35)

About the Role

A local public sector organisation in Enfield is seeking a Community Adaptations Officer for a short-term assignment supporting a vital community equipment and adaptations service. This hands-on role ensures vulnerable residents have access to the equipment they need to live independently and safely at home.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and technical support for the delivery and maintenance of lifting and mobility equipment.
• Work closely with internal teams and external contractors to arrange installations, repairs, and assessments.
• Respond to enquiries from residents, carers, and professionals, providing advice and resolving issues efficiently.
• Manage and prioritise a personal caseload, ensuring records are maintained and service targets are met.
• Support procurement, reporting, and audit activity as required.

What You'll Bring

• Experience working in a social care, housing, or community-based setting.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to handle technical queries and manage tasks independently.
• Confidence working with vulnerable service users, showing empathy and professionalism.
