Job Overview:
We are looking for a creative and knowledgeable Home Economics Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school. The ideal Home Economics Teacher will be confident in delivering engaging lessons focused on cooking, nutrition, health, and household management. A PGCE with QTS or QTLS is required, and we welcome applications from ECTs with relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver practical and theory-based Home Economics Teacher lessons.

• Teach key areas such as food preparation, nutrition, and budgeting.

• Monitor and assess student progress.

• Maintain a safe and well-equipped classroom.

• Collaborate with staff to enrich the school's curriculum offering.

Requirements:

• PGCE with QTS/QTLS or equivalent.

• Experience teaching home economics or food technology.

• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

• Passion for practical learning and life skills.
