Home Ownership Assistant

Your new company
Due to the partnership with Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council, we are looking to recruit a Home Ownership Assistant to join their Home Ownership Services Team. SMBC are credited for their expertise in public services and the opportunities offered by them.
Your new role
As a Home Ownership Assistant, you will be responsible for conducting the initial checks for the Right to Buy applications. You will ensure the tenant's details have been added to the in-house system accurately, and the tenant is eligible to proceed with the Right to Buy. Furthermore, you will be ensuring any notices and letters are sent out to the tenants in a timely manner.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need experience of working in a busy administrative environment where you can prioritise your workload. In addition, you will need to demonstrate exceptional organisational skills. It is also important to be confident and have exceptional customer service skills.In addition, this role will be an ASAP start,. Before starting, you will need to pass your reference and compliance checks. On registration please have your two most recent employment details available for reference checks.
What you'll get in return
This is a full-time, temporary role based in Oldbury. This is a six-month contract. This role is a Grade E position, with a rate of £15.84 (PAYE), paid on a weekly basis.
