Receptionist - Private Hospital (Agency Contract)

Are you an experienced receptionist with a passion for patient care and a solid understanding of HR processes?
Trident healthcare are seeking a professional and personable Receptionist to join a reputable private hospital in Bedford on a minimum 6-month agency contract. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a supportive team in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff with professionalism and warmthhis seem
• Manage incoming calls, emails, and appointment bookings
• Maintain accurate patient records and handle confidential information
• Support basic HR functions such as onboarding paperwork, staff scheduling, and maintaining personnel files
• Liaise with clinical and administrative teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
• Uphold high standards of customer service and patient confidentiality

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a receptionist, ideally in a healthcare or clinical setting
• Basic HR knowledge or experience (e.g., recruitment support, staff records, compliance)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and patient management systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
