Housing Access Assistant
Location: North London
Rate: £20.71 per hour LTD / £17.54 per hour PAYE
Contract: Temporary | 35 hours per week | 14th July 2025 – 30th September 2025
Closing Date: 9th July 2025, 5:00pm
A public sector housing service in North London is seeking a Housing Access Assistant to join their Market Management team on a short-term basis. This is a great opportunity for candidates with strong administrative and analytical skills to support vital housing operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality administrative and technical support across the housing function
Monitor procurement, voids, and repairs, ensuring compliance with KPIs
Collate, analyse, and report on service performance data
Respond to enquiries from customers and colleagues in a confident, professional manner
Support finance processes and ensure accurate data entry into housing systems
Deliver an efficient, customer-focused service aligned with policies and legislation

Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience in housing, allocations, or local government administration
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
Confident working with data and using Microsoft Office applications
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment

This role is inside IR35 and based fully onsite in North London. An immediate start is required from 14th July.
