Contract: Up to 6 months

£15.90 per hour

I am supporting a local council who are hiring a Housing Assistant on a temporary basis.

The Council is committed to the highest level of customer care and service delivery the post holder will work as part of the Area Housing Team and will assist the team with its delivery of the service in all aspects of housing management. Working in accordance with the Council’s agreed policies and working practices, delivering a first class service that is value for money and customer focused.

The Role:

• To support and assist the work of the Area Housing team covering all aspects of housing management
• To provide customers at the first point of contact appropriate advice and assistance/signposting/ and making referrals in all housing related enquiries, rents, tenancy matters, empty homes tenant participation enquiries etc
• Undertake routine correspondence i.e. references building society, right to buy enquiries, transfer enquiries, and case work preparation as determined by Team Leader.
• Monitor team inbox
• Arrange temporary accomadation
