Housing Officer

Red Snapper Recruitment are looking for a Housing Officer to join our client on temp. Contract length TBD but must be a minimum of 4 weeks.

Please note: This role involves a significant amount of travel. Please make sure candidates are aware of this and comfortable with the commitment. Given the distribution of service users, a candidate based in Somerset is preferred. However, the role will involve travel across all areas covered by the scheme (Bath, North Somerset and Somerset)

Experience Required:
Experience in the supported housing sector, ideally having worked with people on probation.
Experience of lone working.
Resilient and able to deal with people who are complex and may exhibit behaviours that may challenge.
Willingness to work flexibly until 8pm, as needed, to support new arrivals into properties.
Driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential.

List of duties:
Induct new clients into their accommodation and the service, setting clear expectations.
Enable clients to co-produce and engage with our high-quality person-centred services, where a strength based, and trauma-informed approach is taken.
Provide input to case reports, incident reports and contribute or participate in multi-agency meetings.
Work alongside Property Manager to carry out basic property inspections and health & safety checks.
