We are seeking a reliable and motivated Assistant Housing Officer to join our team on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage their workload effectively.

• Support the housing team in overseeing 5-10 housing schemes per week.

• Carry out routine checks, visits, and record-keeping as required.

• Respond promptly to tenant queries and escalate issues where necessary.

• Ensure properties are maintained to a high standard and report any concerns.

• Work independently, managing time effectively to meet deadlines.

• Able to use your own initiative and work with minimal supervision.

• Strong time management and organisational skills.

• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Previous experience in housing, property management, or a similar role is desirable but not essential.

• £12.60 per hour (paid weekly).

• 3-month contract with potential for extension.

• Based in the Lancaster Circus area of Birmingham.
