Housing Project Manager

Our client is a large local government organisation and looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team

This is initially a 3 month contract which may be extended for the right applicant

You will

Successfully manage project risks and issues through effective analysis, mitigation and contingency planning, ensuring the project risk log is regularly updated, reviewed and shared with the project team - in accordance with the corporate Risk Policy.

Engage the relevant stakeholders, ensuring effective communication is maintained throughout the lifecycle through the project Communication Plan and monitoring of feedback.

Provide leadership to the project team, ensuring colleagues are both supported and encouraged through one-to-one discussion and project team meetings.

Contribute to business Community of Practice, keeping up to date with current organisational issues, initiatives and priorities; support the council’s Portfolio Management Office through embedding the associated programme and project management best practice.
