Temporary HR Advisor – Cardiff
Contract until end of September 2025 | Hybrid & Flexible Working Available

Hoop Professional Services and HR are delighted to be supporting a highly regarded organisation based in Cardiff in the recruitment of an experienced HR Advisor on a temporary contract. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing, collaborative HR team and make a real impact. As the HR Advisor, you will provide support throughout the full employment lifecycle, contribute to HR projects, and offer advice and guidance on HR best practices.

This role offers hybrid working, flexibility, and the chance to contribute to a forward-thinking, values-led organisation with a strong reputation across the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on a wide range of employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, and performance issues.

  • Build trusted relationships with employees and line managers to support a positive employee experience.

  • Support and coach managers through HR processes in a confident, clear, and consistent manner.

  • Manage a high volume of casework, ensuring timely and legally compliant resolution.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and practices.

  • Work closely with the wider HR team to support organisational priorities and workforce planning.

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Have recent, hands-on experience in a HR Advisor role, with a strong focus on employee relations.

  • Be confident in managing a high volume and varied ER caseload independently.

  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships quickly and effectively.

  • Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment and managing competing priorities.

  • Ideally be CIPD qualified or working towards it (desirable but not essential).

Interviews are taking place from week commencing 19th May, with a view to onboarding as soon as possible due to the urgent nature of this requirement.

If you're interested, please reach out directly to Emmy Bevan to find out more and apply.

Don’t miss out on this opportunity to join a respected organisation and bring your expertise to a dedicated and supportive team.
