HR Advisor

We have an opportunity for an HR Advisor or Senior HR Advisor to work for a busy HR team on the Isle of Wight for an initial 3-month temporary contract via Hays. 3 days per week on site in Newport, Isle of Wight and 2 from home... and they will consider support costs of ferry travel to IOW.
We are looking for an experienced HR Professional who has a broad generalist and ER background who will be working alongside a Head of HR in the delivery of a compressive HR service to managers and employees.
You will be undertaking a range of HR activities including:

• Employer relations case work - grievance, disciplinary, performance, capability, sickness, absence, dismissal.
• Providing advice and guidance to managers on all aspects of HR policy, process and best practice.
• Coaching managers on ER and HR matters.
• Supporting other activities which could include policy, recruitment, training

Candidates

• We are looking for HR professionals who have a hands-on approach with a solid HR generalist and ER background, ideally with experience of complex environments, e.g. with unions.
• You must have a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Recent generalist HR experience, encompassing a wide array of HR tasks including policy development, implementation, and ER casework.

The OfferWe are looking to engage on an initial temporary contract via Hays for an initial 3-month basis.
5 days per week - 3 days on site in Newport, Isle of Wight and 2 from home. But if you can be on site preferred, but open to discuss.
