HR Advisor – 6 Month FTC
Location: Glasgow (with some travel)
Salary: Up to £38,000 DOE
Start: ASAP

Morson is partnering with a leading business in Glasgow seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join on a 6 month fixed-term contract. This is a full-time, predominantly on-site role with some flexibility to work from home 1–2 days per week, subject to business needs. Occasional travel to a second Glasgow site (45 minutes away) is required – mileage will be expensed.

The Role:
Reporting to the HR Business Partner (North West) and supported by the central HR team, you’ll act as the stand-alone HR lead across two sites. Responsibilities include:

• Supporting managers with HR policies, procedures, and employment law

• Handling ER cases (disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability)

• Coaching and advising on performance and absence management

• Driving people initiatives in line with local and group People Plans

• Maintaining Trade Union relationships and supporting pay discussions

• Keeping HR systems updated and delivering HR briefings

• Supporting policy development and continuous improvement

• Contributing to People Plan projects and promoting inclusion

Requirements:

• Proven HR Advisor experience

• Strong ER case management skills

• Trade Union experience

• Confident stakeholder management and communication skills

Package:

• 6-month FTC

• Up to £38,000 DOE
