Job Description - HR Services Admin Assistant

HR Admin Assistant
  • Hourly Rate: £17.02 PAYE ./ £21.97 LTD UMB
  • Location: London SE1
  • Job Type: Temporary, Hybrid (Immediate start, contract ends September 2025 with possible extension)

We are seeking two HR Admin Assistants to support the London Fire Service during the implementation of a new HR and Payroll system. This role is crucial as the current team will be required to double input data for a period of 3 months. This position offers an immediate start and the possibility of contract extension beyond September 2025.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Input new joiners onto the legacy HR/Payroll system.
  • Process leavers from the organisation on the legacy HR/Payroll system.
  • Action any non-pay related processes in the legacy HR/Payroll system as requested by the manager.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Previous HR experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Proven administrative experience.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in using HR information systems and comfortable learning new technologies.
