HRC Operative (Driver) - Weekend, Holiday & Sickness Cover

About the Role

We are urgently seeking a reliable and flexible Household Recycling Centre Operative who can drive and is available for weekend shifts as well as holiday and sickness cover. The location is Bluntisham, but the role also requires cover at Alconbury and occasionally at other sites.

Key Details

• Schedule: Minimum of 3 days per week, including weekends, on a rotational shift basis (Monday-Sunday)
• Travel: Must have access to a personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed)
• Environment: Outdoor role requiring physical endurance and all-weather reliability

Responsibilities

• Guide and assist visitors at the recycling centre
• Direct customers to correct waste disposal areas
• Maintain site cleanliness and adhere to Health & Safety protocols
• Deliver a high standard of customer service at all times

Requirements

• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
• Willingness to travel to multiple sites as needed
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all conditions
• Dependable, punctual, and immediately available
