Recruiting on behalf of: A world-leading Principal Contractor

We are working with a globally recognised Principal Contractor on a National Grid substation build in Suffolk. This is a high-profile infrastructure project requiring an experienced HSE Advisor with a strong background in high voltage (HV) substation environments.

• Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety & Environmental regulations on site.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Support the implementation of HSE policies and procedures.
• Provide guidance and training to site teams on best practices.
• Liaise with client and contractor teams to maintain a safe working environment.

• Proven experience as an HSE Advisor on HV substation projects.
• NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent HSE qualification.
• Strong working knowledge of CDM Regulations and UK HSE legislation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.

• Work with a globally respected contractor on a nationally significant energy infrastructure project.
• Outside IR35 engagement - ideal for experienced contractors.
• Opportunity to contribute to the UK's energy transition and grid resilience.
