The Role
You’ll work mainly with Key Stage 3 and 4 pupils, supporting them in lessons, leading small group interventions, and helping them build knowledge and confidence in humanities subjects. You’ll focus on raising attainment in History or Geography, depending on your background. You’ll support revision, explain key concepts, and help prepare students for assessments. You’ll work closely with subject teachers to identify gaps and deliver high-impact support.

The Candidate
You’ve got a 2:1 or above in History, Geography or a related subject, plus strong A-Levels. You’ve worked with young people before—maybe through tutoring, mentoring, summer schools, or volunteering—and you’re serious about a future in education. You’re confident, reliable, and know how to communicate complex ideas clearly. You’re ready to make a difference in the classroom.
