Humanities Teacher

• Contract: Full-time, Temporary (Long-Term Supply)

• Pay: £168 - £232 per day (Paid to scale)

We are seeking a committed Humanities Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive secondary school. You will be needed to cover five days a week for the entire school year, on a long-term supply basis. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a diverse and stimulating curriculum, helping students to achieve their best in subjects such as History and Geography.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and informative lessons across the Humanities curriculum.
• Participate in school events and ongoing professional development opportunities.
• Assess and record students' progress, preparing them for examinations.
• Develop and enrich the existing Humanities curriculum with new materials and teaching techniques.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
• Effectively collaborate with other teaching staff to plan and coordinate activities.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Degree in History, Geography, Social Studies, or a related Humanities field.
• Proven experience teaching Humanities at the secondary level.
• Strong knowledge of the current curriculum and educational strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
