Job Description - HVG Class 1 Driver

Are you a qualified HGV Class 1 Driver looking for a rewarding opportunity in Radley? Pertemps are delighted to be working with an esteemed client looking for an experienced driver.

Location: Radley, Oxfordshire
PayRate: £17 - £18 per hour
JobType: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: Minimum of 45hrs per week

What We Offer:

Competitive hourly rate of £17 - £18 per hour.
Ongoing work with guaranteed hours.
Modern, state of the art vehicles.
£25 per night allowance for tramping when required
Opportunity for overtime.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate HGV Class 1 vehicles to transport goods locally and regionally.
Conduct vehicle checks and ensure compliance with all safety standards.
Accurately complete delivery paperwork and logs.
Communicate effectively with the transport team and customers.
Adhere to driving regulations and company policies.

Requirements:

Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) license.
Current Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
Proven experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver.
Good knowledge of UK driving laws and road networks.
Strong communication and time management skills.
