ICT End User Computing Engineer

PAYE: £17.79 per hour | Umbrella: £22.70 per hour
52-Week Temporary Assignment | 37 Hours Per Week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ICT End User Computing Engineer to join Suffolk Constabulary’s ICT team. Based in Ipswich, you will be supporting both Norfolk and Suffolk police forces, playing a key role in delivering high-priority mobile device technical refresh programmes.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for end-user computing systems
Work across both Norfolk and Suffolk to implement ICT projects
Maintain compliance with ICT policies and financial year commitments
Perform advanced diagnostics to resolve complex hardware & software issues
Maintain and update the ICT Asset Register

Essential Criteria:
Qualification in an ICT discipline or equivalent IT operational experience
Strong experience working in a Microsoft Windows environment
Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently when needed
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Full UK driving licence (including Category B) to travel across Norfolk & Suffolk

This role is inside IR35 and requires travel to multiple locations using Constabulary vehicles.
