ICT Project Manager **

We are assisting a Local Authority in the appointment of an experienced ICT Project Manager to join their team in Crewe.

Rate of pay: £30 - £40 per hour.

Remote working.

Contract: 4 -6 months with a view to be extended.

Hours: 37 hours per week.

Within this role, you will be expected to provide a programme and/or project management function, taking full responsibility for managing complex / highly complex ICT projects or acting as a dedicated ICT Project Manager for major Business Change projects.

As an ICT Project Manger you will be responsible for the following:

• The Information and Data Management (IADM) Programme requires an experienced Project Manager to coordinate and deliver projects related to Enterprise Content Management and several other businesses focused ICT projects.
• The IADM programme is focused on ensuring Information is utilised effectively and appropriately to deliver business change across multiple services. The PM will need to display an understanding of the importance of Information Assurance and how it can improve effectiveness within an organisation.
• Examples of other project subject matters will include, GIS and Address Management - the PM will be supported by a wider network of PMs under the programme, as well as an active Programme Manager and SRO.
• The Programme is information and business focused, so it is essential that the successful PM can demonstrate a range of previous projects which display business and ICT capabilities, delivery and outputs.

To be a successful candidate for this role you must have the following:

• Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
• MSP or PRINCE2 practitioner Qualification or equivalent accreditation or experience.
• Experience in a project management role delivering complex change projects.
