Job Description - ICT Service Desk Analyst - 12+ Month Contract

ICT Service Desk Analyst - 12+ Month Contract
Location: Wymondham, Norfolk, NR18 0WW | Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM (rotating shifts between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM)
Hybrid Work: Considered after 3-month review
Contract Length: 12 months, with possible extension
Security Clearance: Must have lived in the UK continuously for the past 3 years
Right to Work:Applicants must have current and unrestricted right to work in the UK. Unfortunately, visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Are you experienced in handling high-volume service requests and delivering exceptional customer support? This role is ideal for candidates from any industry who have worked on a help desk or service desk, and are now looking to step into the world of ICT support.

?? Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a high volume of incoming calls, live chats, and self-service portal requests.
  • Deliver excellent customer service while troubleshooting or triaging basic ICT issues.
  • Log, categorize, and assign service tickets using internal systems.
  • Work closely with ICT teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Follow a rotating shift pattern between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
? What We’re Looking For
  • Experience in a service desk or help desk role, in any fast-paced industry (e.g., IT, utilities, retail, banking, hospitality).
  • Proven ability to manage high volumes of queries while effectively prioritising tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and develop in a technical support environment.
  • Able to perform under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
  • Must have lived in the UK for the past 3 years to meet security vetting requirements.
  • Right to work in the UK - visa sponsorship is not available.
