Immediate Assistant Accountant

An exciting opportunity has become available in a small business based in Aldridge. Our client finds themselves looking for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their team in a well rounded and varied role to hit the ground running in a busy environment. This opportunity lends itself to a candidate that can demonstrate flexibility and determination, looking for a stable business environment.

The ideal candidate for this position will hit the ground running straight away, using your advanced finance knowledge to preform monthly cash flow forecasts, process monthly journals including payroll including accruals and prepayments as well as ad hoc tasks, ideally you will have experience double entry bookkeeping in a similar role.

Ideally, you will:

• Have recent and relevant Accounts knowledge with experience taking ownership of the monthly cash flow
• Feel comfortable handling accounts payable and receivable, processing payments and reconciling the bank and credit accounts
• Have a dynamic and adaptable attitude
• Be a confident and effective communicator with a range of internal and external stakeholders
