Immediate Start Trainee Accountant

My client, a large, Birmingham-based corporate business in the Services sector have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Accountant to join their team on initially a temporary basis.

Working within the accounts team, initially you will be responsible for inputting invoices on to the finance system. For the right candidate, this role can progress into a broader accounts role where you will be responsible for Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, and Credit Control. This is a fantastic opportunity to get your foot in the door of a business that will offer you a leg up in your accounts career by giving you the chance to gain varied experience within transactional finance.

Ideally you will:

• Be hungry to succeed, with the drive and energy to turn up and give 100% every day
• Either be a graduate of an Accounts related discipline, or have studied your AAT
• Be able to commute to the city centre daily
• Have a strong level of MS Excel
