Your new company
A respected and community-focused housing provider is seeking a dedicated Independent Living Advisor to join their team on a 3-month full-time contract. Based in Exeter, this role covers a patch across Devon and Torbay, offering a rewarding opportunity to support residents in maintaining their independence and wellbeing.

Your new role
As an Independent Living Advisor, you'll play a key role in delivering intensive housing management services. You'll support new tenants as they move in, help them understand their tenancy rights and responsibilities, and ensure their homes are safe, secure, and well-maintained.
Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting residents with housing benefit applications and financial advice.
• Promoting independence through referrals for assistive technology and home adaptations.
• Conducting regular site inspections to ensure health and safety compliance.
• Collaborating with contractors and internal teams to maintain high service standards.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience supporting elderly or vulnerable individuals in a housing or advisory role.
• Strong communication and administrative skills.
• A commitment to equality, diversity, and excellent customer service.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
• A DBS check and full referencing.

What you'll get in return
