Information, Advise & Guidance Manager

We are a key player in several employment support projects, including the Economic Inactivity Trailblazer pilot and the upcoming Connect 2 Work programme. This role is crucial in supporting targeted groups, including individuals with specialist health requirements and those on probation.

• Deliver professional and impartial Information, Advice, and Guidance (IAG) to participants accessing employment support through Opportunity Sheffield.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners, such as Sheffield Probation Service, Housing Associations, and DWP, to ensure the delivery of high-quality IAG.
• Connect participants with opportunities that enhance their career progression pathways and facilitate steps towards meaningful and sustained employment.
• Serve as a positive advocate for the service, promoting impartial opportunities for participants.
• Support participants in progressing to employment initiatives within the service and/or further learning.
• Maintain a solid understanding of the programme to effectively support project delivery targets.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of employment projects.
• Plan and organise workload efficiently and effectively.

• Proven experience and knowledge in providing Information, Advice, and Guidance in a career or employment-related role.
• Strong understanding of employment support services and the ability to navigate various programmes effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with a range of partners and stakeholders.
• Innovative and forward-thinking, with the ability to identify and implement improvements to service delivery.
• Ability to manage and prioritise tasks to meet project delivery targets.
