Infrastructure Architect - DV Clearance

This is an initial 6-month contract position (inside IR35) the successful candidate will require DV Clearance already.

This role will be located in Basingstoke and will be based on site due to the nature of the end client being in the defence and security sector.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Ownership: Take charge of the solution from design, through prototyping and testing, to implementation.
• Delivery: Ensure the delivery of ongoing changes and enhancements to the solution in response to evolving customer requirements.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues throughout all stages of the project.
• Mentoring: Provide guidance and coaching to support team members.

Your Experience:

• Proven track record of creating High Level Designs, Low Level Designs, BOMs, and support documentation.
• Experience leading the delivery of technical solutions through the design and build phases.
• Strong understanding of the technologies and challenges in growing virtualization platforms.
• Extensive experience with VMware vSphere 6.7 and/or 7.
• Desirable experience with VCP-DCV 2019+ or VCP5/6.
• Experience with ESX performance fault finding and resolution.
• Storage experience with Veeam, NetApp, iSCSI, FC, NFS, preferably Eternus.
• MCSE or relevant experience with Microsoft Stack Troubleshooting.
• Experience with Windows Server 2019.
