Infrastructure Engineer

A leading global information and communication technology (ICT) company are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join their multi-skilled agile team. Teamwork is paramount in this role, which will be challenging and varied, with cross-training and shared challenges.

This is an initial 6-month contract position (inside IR35) the successful candidate will require DV Clearance already.

This role will be located in Basingstoke and will be based on site due to the nature of the end client being in the defence and security sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work as part of a multi-skilled agile team.
• Own the delivery of a work package from design through prototyping, ensuring it meets functional and non-functional requirements.
• Troubleshoot and problem-solve issues.
• Script repeatable unit tests to exercise functionality, accounting for desired and undesired outcomes.
• Support the work package through user piloting and into production, providing early life support.
• Create and maintain support and design documentation to assist users and support personnel.
• Deliver ongoing changes to the work package in response to evolving user requirements.
