Infrastructure Engineer

Infrastructure Engineer – Chippenham – AWS Administrator – 6 Month Contract

My client needs an Infrastructure Engineer to maintain and apply changes to AWS systems across the production and development environments. The contract will include a mixture of Project and BAU work. The successful candidate will have a strong background with AWS Administration, Microsoft stack and networking.

Technology and Experience of the Infrastructure Engineer:

• Must have proven experience of AWS Systems Administration. Other systems such as Azure may be considered.
• Must have Strong Microsoft Stack skills including extensive experience using Windows Server, AD and Intune.
• Experience within a virtual environment is necessary using Hyper V. Other virtual environments may also be considered.
• The ability to troubleshoot and problem solve issues.
• Any networking skills are beneficial.

Key Responsibilities of the Infrastructure engineer:

• Maintain the AWS infrastructure for production and development environments.
• Administer and support the Microsoft stack using Windows Server, HyperV, Office 365 admin, AD and Intune.
• Perform routine system maintenance, upgrades and patch management.
• Provide support and configuration for networking tools such as Dell and Juniper switches.

The Successful Infrastructure engineer must be commutable to Chippenham.
