Infrastructure Manager

A large well known retail client is actively looking to hire a Technology/Infrastructure Manager with experience of working within a Networking/Infrastructure environment.

As the Technical / Infrastructure Manager you will have experience of working with Outsourcing Technical Teams (Overseas & UK Based) in relation to Hardware/Infrastructure/Networking/Wifi or Telecomm for the business. You will take the lead during call relating to improvements, processes and driving shorter downtime period for technical issues across the companies Stores, Depots, Data Centres and Offices across the UK.

Job Title: Technology/Infrastructure Manager

Duration: 6 Months

Location: London or Coventry - Hybrid working

Day Rates: Up to £480prd (Inside IR35)

Experience Required:

• Experience of working within an Infrastructure/Networking Environment
• Experience of Process Improvement regarding Infrastructure/Networking downtime/maintenance/technical issues
• Ability to work with Overseas Technical Consultancy to resolve Infrastructure downtimes/network/infrastructure problems.
• Ability to Troubleshoot Infrastructure/Networking queries at a high level - Discussions with Internal Customers & Outsourcing Companies
• Ability to read Error Codes to spot common issues across the Network/Infrastructure to prevent reoccurrence or speed up downtime.
• Incident Knowledge, Resolution and Problem Solving a must for this position
• Experience of Connectivity within a business.
• Experience of Change processes
• Knowledge of Splunk, Cisco, NOC, Observability / Broad Communications
• Strong Technical background
• Strong Communications Experience
• Retail Background would be nice but to have
