Clinical Negligence Solicitor – Legal Underwriter (12-Month FTC)
South London | £50,000 - £60,000 + Completion Bonus | Hybrid Working

A respected insurance conglomerate that’s looking to hire a Clinical Negligence Solicitor into a Legal Underwriter role on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor who’s looking to step away from traditional fee-earning and move into a role focused on risk, compliance and legal auditing.

There is strong potential for this position to go permanent.

What the role involves:

• Reviewing clinical negligence and personal injury case files
• Identifying risks and maintaining a legal risk log
• Working alongside the audit team to review panel law firms
• Being part of a supportive, close-knit team of legal professionals

What the firm is looking for:

• A qualified solicitor with 3+ years’ PQE, ideally in clinical negligence (this is essential)
• Someone who’s confident assessing legal risk and can work independently
• Experience in personal injury, compliance and/or commercial litigation would be a bonus
