Insights Analyst

We’re working with a leading health charity looking for an experienced Insight Analyst to join their team on a 3-month fixed-term contract. This role offers the opportunity to drive data-led decision making across supporter engagement and fundraising activity.

About the Role:
You’ll be part of a small but high-impact insight and digital performance team, delivering accessible and actionable insight through advanced SQL and Power BI reporting. You’ll work closely with fundraising and digital colleagues to provide clear, accurate data analysis, helping the organisation better understand performance and optimise supporter interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write and manage complex SQL queries to extract and validate CRM data (Dynamics).
• Build and maintain Power BI reports to support fundraising and campaign performance.
• Translate data into meaningful insight for non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams to scope reporting needs and identify data opportunities.
• Uphold GDPR and data governance best practice throughout all reporting processes.

About You:

• Strong SQL and Power BI experience, ideally using CRM systems.
• Excellent attention to detail with a methodical approach to data accuracy.
• Confident communicator who can explain complex insight clearly.
• Previous experience in a fundraising or charity environment is highly desirable.
