Inspection Assistant - Temp to Perm
Location: Near Southampton
Type: Temp-to-Perm
Pay: £12.50 per hour
Hours: 38.75 per week, Monday to Friday
Standard Hours: 08:00-16:15 (flexible start times available; early starts welcome)

A well-established manufacturing company based near Southampton is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Inspection Assistant to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis.

• Carry out inspection activities in line with company procedures, customer requirements, and applicable specifications.

• Perform a variety of inspections including First Off, Patrol, Last Off, and 100% checks.

• Assist with the inspection of subcontracted components and First Article Inspections.

• Accurately complete documentation such as Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Supplier/Vendor Ratings, Goods Received Notes (GRNs), and records in the Javelin system.

• Help maintain a clean and orderly work environment, supporting ongoing 5S and housekeeping efforts.

• Collaborate with the Inspection Lead to resolve day-to-day issues.

• Adhere to all Health & Safety policies as outlined in the company's Employee Handbook.

• Carry out any additional tasks within the scope of the role.
