Interim Accountant

Axon Moore are exclusively working with an award winning British luxury brand that are based in Liverpool City Centre and looking to bring in an experience Interim Accountant for a circa of 3 to 4 months. This role is Outside IR35.

The successful accountant is required to bolster the team during preparations for the annual audit and PAYE end of year reporting. This is to cover a gap before a permanent hire joins in July. The role is 5 days per week in the office.

Key tasks

·Prepare accurate monthly management accounts schedules, analyses and reconciliations
·Accounting for the company’s stock so that this correctly stated in the general ledger and fully reconciled to underlying records
·Prepare audit and tax schedules ahead of audit field and facilitate a smooth year-end audit.
·Prepare end of tax year analyses for our tax advisors
·Prepare and submit ONS and other statistical returns

Key Skills

·Must be a technically strong accountant with very recent experience of the key tasks listed above
·Must have a proven ability to solve problems in complex situations using experience and professional knowledge
·Professional, polished and confident
·Excellent time management and able to balance short- and long-term goals in a busy environment
·Shows the level of attention to detail that befits an award-winning luxury retailer
·Excellent excel skills, experience with ERP systems (Sage X3 is a plus)
·First class communication skills, able to effectively communicate at all levels in the company and across specialisms
