Interim Accountant

• The role is a blend of completing ledger as well as assisting with month end duties.
• You will be required to work closely with the financial controller and assist with the end-to-end finance process.

My client is a leading global manufacturer and wholesaler known for producing a wide range of vehicles. Their UK office is looking for an Accountant to join initially on an interim basis, with an opportunity to become a permanent member.

Description

• Responsibility of chasing all aged debt and providing commentary weekly and monthly
• Responsibility of chasing and allocating Government & Defence receipt
• Ensuring all supplier accounts are reconciled and all payments are allocated
• Setting up new supplier accounts
• Barclaycard statement - Collate and code invoices and submit for processing
• Inventory Management
• Reconcile variances
• Post Corrections to stock
• Assist in preparation of month end and year end accounts
• Assist in the preparation of month end schedules and reports
• VAT Returns
• Intrastat Return

Profile

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
• Advanced Excel skills are required for this role and are essential
• Analytical mindset with the ability to work with complex financial data
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and managing your own workload
• Experience with Order Management Systems and Microsoft Dynamics 365 would be advantageous

Job Offer

£250 - £350 per day 9 - 12 month interim assignment
