Interim Accountant

CMA Recruitment Group is partnering with a successful business based in Poole, Dorset, who have the requirement to hire an Interim Accountant on a long-term contract basis. Partnering with the Finance Director and other senior non-finance stakeholders, you will play an important role in a finance transformation project, focusing on communication, systems and processes.

What will the Interim Accountant role involve?

• Business partner with operational department leads to understand processes & improve communication;
• Clearly articulate financial information to non-finance stakeholders, in addition to how this impacts them;
• Support the Finance Director in improving finance department processes & systems utilisation;
• Completion of analytical projects, primarily focussing on costing and KPIs;
• Ad hoc project based tasks focussing on process improvement.

Suitable Candidate for the Interim Accountant vacancy:

• An ACCA / CIMA or equivalent qualification is required to be considered for this role;
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment is also required;
• Strong people & business partnering skills;
• Previous tenures working in process improvement orientated positions.
