Interim Accountant

Three Bridges Recruitment is currently partnering with its client, based in Edinburgh City Centre, to recruit for an Interim Accountant for a period of 12 months. As this is a backfill position to cover a project secondment, we are looking for a candidate with a wide and varied Accounting skill set, who is willing to pitch in wherever needed to keep things moving.

Job

The role of Interim Accountant will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:

• Handling a wide range of accounting tasks from posting invoices and raising POs to lease and fixed asset accounting
• Supporting the month-end close process, submitting annual returns, and pulling data into Excel reports
• Partnering with internal teams on budgeting and reporting
• Supporting finance systems transition work as required
• Gaining occasional exposure to procurement functions

You

As an Interim Accountant you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:

• Strong all-round accounting experience, including transactional and technical areas
• Confidence with Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data manipulation)
• Familiarity with MS Office and SharePoint
• No Accounting qualification required—we value hands-on experience just as much
• A positive, collaborative attitude. You’re happy to get involved at any level of the finance function
