Interim Accountant

As Interim Accountant you will be responsible for managing the monthly finances as well as overseeing a small transactional team. This role can be offered as a temporary position or a temp to perm.

Client Details

Working for a well established organisation in Liverpool, you will be working closely with the Head of Finance and Board to ensure over all financial management of the charities group finances and sustainability.

Description

• Analysis of financial data and company profitability and assets
• Preparation of management accounts, including overseeing internal control policies and procedures
• Manage, coach and support a small finance team
• Budgets, forecasting and cash-flow management
• Running budget holder meetings and presenting to stakeholders

Profile

A successful Accountant should have:

• Current and up to date experience financial and management accounts
• Able to work to tight deadlines and communicate company needs to the wider business and stakeholders
• Use of accountancy software and advanced experience with Excel (Pivot tables, vlookups)
• AAT Qualified, CIMA or ACCA studier, or qualified by experience
• Understanding of local authority financial management and reporting
